Edusoft sponsored SENA Expo 2010, a major e-learning conference in Bogota, Colombia. This followed a series of Edusoft’s training seminars which were conducted for SENA centers across the country.

SENA Expo 2010 was a four-day event with more than 800 participants focusing on e-learning and m-learning, and featuring guest speakers from the United States, Spain, Latin America, and Israel. The conference attracted educators, decision makers and government representatives from Colombia and further afield. Danny Glick, Director of Pedagogical Services at Edusoft, gave a keynote speech about the main principles for effectively running a large-scale distance learning course. Participants responded positively to the suggestions about how to overcome common challenges faced in e-teaching.

The SENA training seminars held in March were provided by Edusoft for SENA teachers across Colombia, and took place in six different cities. The events served as an excellent platform to introduce some of the latest tools developed by Edusoft to enhance the teaching solutions and platform. A panel discussion was held with experts in the field of e-learning, addressing the problems faced by teachers and how to solve them.

“Edusoft believes that teachers play a key role in the successful implementation of e-learning projects. To assist this success, Edusoft provides teachers with high quality training and maintains ongoing communication with them. We believe in supporting teachers through their professional development and constantly training and challenging them.”
