Edusoft is proud to announce that SENA, one of our valued clients in Latin America, was the recent recipient of the Senior Management Award, given by the Administrative Department of Civil Service in Colombia. SENA’s English for All Colombians has been successfully using Edusoft’s English Discoveries Online (EDO) to teach English to Colombian citizens since 2007. The program was chosen from amongst 174 similar national programs to receive first place in the national category.

SENA is the training arm of the Colombian Ministry of Labor and provides enrichment and vocational courses to Colombian citizens. SENA administers online, offline, and blended courses in hundreds of centers and computer labs across the country.

SENA’s Secretary General, Juan Bayona Ferreira expressed sincere pride in the program’s accomplishments, which he believes has lead to employment creation in the area. Since its inception, English for All Colombians has enabled 1,500,000 Colombians to master the world of English using Edusoft’s innovative and effective platform and support tools. Participants of the program are supported by 1,400 tutors, who were trained by Edusoft’s Pedagogical Team. SENA and Edusoft are looking forward to the further success of the program in the coming years.
